weeks by week pregnancy - 3rd week

A very small ball contains several hundreds of cells which reproduce every minute.

After these cells lodge in the uterus, the part of the cells that form the placenta begins to secrete the pregnancy hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin hcg diet).

The hormone hCG, which tells your ovaries stop releasing eggs, is the hormone through which the strip of a pregnancy test will change color, indicating that there pregnancy.

You will probably do not know yet that you're pregnant, but by the end of this week you may notice little bleeding. These losses can be caused by the egg that makes its way into the uterine cavity, but no one really knows the cause. This bleeding, which are very light, affect only a minority of pregnant women.
* The hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), is detected in urine and blood pregnancy tests.
